attempt to never show you naughty results. With “Moderate”, we will show
you naughty results only if most of the results are naughty. With “Disabled”,
we will show naughty results even if most of the results aren’t naughty.

Not at this time. We don’t currently accept URL submissions. We discover and add new sites to our index by link-crawling. Our crawler is named ScoutJet. You can see information about ScoutJet here: http://www.scoutjet.com/

Basically you just need to make sure that you allow ScoutJet to crawl your site, and then we will need to discover it via links from other sites.

Does blekko have an API?

As of September 2013, we have sold out our entire search capacity and are no longer offering free API usage. Sorry.

Yes. The blekko API allows programs and other websites to run searches on blekko, and to manipulate slashtags. This API is free for low usage rates. Some free users are allowed as many as 1 query per second. Examples of the free users we like include academic research, and services which are free.

We also have some specialized APIs for SEO information. These APIs are currently unavailable, while we are launching our paid SEO product on our website.

Please contact apiauth@blekko.com for documentation and an API Auth key.
