What if I want to search websites that aren’t in a slashtag?

You can negate a slashtag — only see web results which aren’t in a slashtag — by using a minus sign. For example, to see websites which aren’t in the Linux slashtag but might belong there, search for linux -/linux. Or, to see results that don’t include any blogs or forum results, try model airplanes -/blogs -/forums.

You can combine positive and negative slashtags in a single query: linux /linux -/forum /date shows you recent results about Linux from sites in the Linux slashtag, but excludes forum websites.
